    Good luck.

    You’re gonna need it.

  2. morelebaks

im no chef but i think it would be better if you turned on the stove

  3. ScorpionTheInsect

    Is that just unseasoned chicken?

  4. Mecha-Dave

I’d add some herbs and salt but nothin’ wrong with it.

Maybe browning the chicken a little first, and throwing in an allium or two could be nice.

  5. Endlesstrash1337

I am pretty sure that should be cooked separately.

  6. ddoogg88tdog

thats my specialty, i get the pre diced bags of carrot and swede and toss em in a pan with chicken, a stock and whatever is in the spice cupboard at the time

Next time sear the chicken first, at the very least. It brings a ton of flavor to the soup/stew.
Also, personally I’d sauté the carrots with onions and garlic and finish them with tomato paste then add a bit of wine to deglaze the pan (get all the cooked bits off the bottom , that’s flavor town). Then add the seared chick and water.
It’s a bit more work but it takes it from a 2/10 stew to at least a solid 7/10.
Also, you need some herbs and spices in there. Pepper at the least 💀

Chop up the chicken into similarly size cubes, add some bullion before boiling, and then a curry roux cube at the end. You’re halfway to curry rice, just finish it off and eat an actual meal instead of this weird dietary punishment

Eh with some herbs and salt that’s somr good clean chicken soup

  10. Far_Wolverine2007

Is it just chicken wings, potatoes, carrots and water? You could have done so many other things than what you did

  11. SyrupExpress

throw in a japanese curry cube and you’re in business.

  12. LeadingExperience505

Now this is what I call a soup 😼

  13. enchiladasundae

I’d toss the carrots in the oven for a bit. If not comfortable with the oven do so in a non oiled pan. The bits left over are flavorful when they get mixed back in

Get a croc-pot its even easier this this and tastes better.

  15. Daily_Breakdown

Growing up my mother used to do this and just called it boiled dinner. I dreaded those super bland nights.

  16. Ok_Zookeepergame5141

Chicken soup. Yeah, nothing wrong with that. I just did that last night. 👍

  17. Shitport318

At least throw in a boullion cube and some corn starch slurry and make a ghetto crockpot meal in a stove top pot

  18. TryDry9944

I have a big pot I toss a bunch of canned vegetables and beans in, and then on the side I fry some ground meat.

Easy soup with extra protein, makes like 10+ servings. Easy clean up.

  19. rilezter

The people dogging on this are gonna eat cold spaghettios for dinner btw. This is good healthy hearty food compared to most slop in this sub.

  20. vyxanis

Id say this is more boring than shitty. Along with more seasoning, even just a stock cube, id cook the chicken on its own for longer. Its not the most offensive assembly, and there is room for Improvement without too much effort

  21. Zenicnero

A ceramic coated oven pan, a single shaker of Cajun seasoning, oil if you fuckin want I guess. It wipes clean. Please treat yourself better than this, and give some respect to the food.

  22. Forman420

You definitely got yourself a soup going. Just needs like 3 more ingredients.

  23. Infinite-Ambassador5

Throw some salt and whatever you have that appears to be a seasoning, and you will have made a stew that most human beings have made forever.

  24. hbsboak

Looks pretty close to Ajiaco Colombiano TBH. They like bland food there.

  25. Fun-Post8497

Next time you are gonna sear the chicken untill you see some juice came out and the skin is a little Brown, then you ad your veggies and let that cook untill soft, then you ad some wáter or broth, some soup pasta and there you have it, delicious chicken soup

I recomend you get some italian seasoning herbs, maeby curry, or ad noodles

  26. ThatLink4097

Did you at least toss in a boullion cube or two?

  27. Kysman95

Literally just throw in one cube of Golden Curry and you have a perfect savoury japanese curry for dinner

  28. Weary-Weasel

Why not do the exact same thing but roast it instead 😭

  29. nogardleirie

That’s basically just my mother’s chicken soup recipe. At least 6 children grew up eating that with rice mashed in
